How to remove Iron in drinking water

When water containing iron and manganese passes through water softener water treatment plant and containing the mixed bed ( Deionized water treatment plant ) anion and cation resins , it oxidized and precipitated by contact and hydrogen sulfide H2S gas eliminated by oxidation to sulfate and insoluble precipitate.

Regeneration of Softener

This Softener water treatment plant is Periodic  regeneration cycle with a weak solution of potassium permanganate restore the oxidizing capacity of the bed.
